I prefer not to sell my crafted items because of a sentimental feeling and all the work that went into it. However there are many individuals that sell their finished products online and with properly built tall ships you can fetch quite a lucrative price. There are quite a few collectors that don’t have the patience or skill to build these ships but that are willing to pay quite a bit for a completed ship. I had an uncle that actually built his own tall ship. He was incredibly proud of it as it was a replica of the famous Tea clipper wooden tall ship. He had it in a glass encasement and never touched it after it was completed. I remember we always wanted him to open it up so that we could play with it, I now understand why he never did considering all the hard work it took and how much it meant to him.
